Ok so about 3 weeks ago I posted the one about my mercruiser dieing abs never starting again. Everyone lead me to the thunderbolt ignition test so I performed the test and everything lead me to believe that the ICM was gone. I got a new ICM installed it and tried again, still no spark. I'm noticing that the red/wht wire coming out of the harness has no power in it going to the distributor. So after all this I them noticed I have no electronics like horn, bilge, radio, lights, nothing at all. Could this be part of the issue or would this be a separate issue. I did change emergency cut off lanyard and switch but still no power anywhere. My engine turns over and my power trim works but no electrical function up fun. I want to thank all of you for helping me.

yeah, you have lost power to the helm, and it will affect running. Make sure all the fuses are good, and start tracing the wiring from the source, up to the helm. I ran across one at one time, that has the same issue. After scratching my noggin" for awhile, I did find the harness was extended as it was a bit to short, The harness was buried along the stb side, behind the panels, and the factory plug had come partially unplugged. Just enough to let some stuff work but not others. Never ran across that issue again, but it's something to look for.

check the big circuit breaker at the engine, that feeds the power (red wire) in the harness up to the ignition switch, which feeds the dash and the ignition (purple)wire back to the motor. there are probably 4 connections along the way.

Agree check power and will add. In your previous thread you ran thru the TB-IV troubleshooting chart and said it was the module. The TB-IV modules are no longer made so if you bought one off ebay or such, it may have been working either.

I apologize for not knowing that the two threads I've started were not separate issues. I can't see how to look up my old thread without going through about a hundred new ones in front of it.
As for the module I got it from a salvage yard that had a motor that ran about 100 hours and the front half of the boat crashed into a rock. The owner of m&m salvage in Meredith NH told me he guarantees this module works. I have no power at the helm I'm looking for answers that could lead to the finding of that issue. I turn the key abs the motor turns over but no spark in the gap tester. Now last night one time I turned the key the gap lit up but I could never get it to do it again
