As complicated as the hastings thread is I think I have come to the conclusion that I need shift arm F and I have shift arm D. I installed a new lower cable and have reached my wits end because I will get reverse engaging 100% of th time and forward 30% or vise versa.
I'm guessing the angle on the F arm lets you get a longer throw distance as opposed to the old D arm.
Was going to try to fab an angle like displayed in arm F cause I can find that dang part anywhere.
Any help appreciated.
heres the link to the 2 different arms
