I was running the motor on the hose and a alarm sensor came on steady. I tried to rev it a little and it would just bog down so I shut it off and let it sit. When I tried to restsart the alarm came back on.This has never happened before any suggestions.I use mixed fuel and it has no oil reserve.

Re: 89 Yamaha Pro 50

What would cause it to overheat all of a sudden? Or could it be the sensor?

Low water pressure from the garden hose or poor seal at the muffs.

If the alarm sounds immediatley more likely sensor.
