9.5 sportwin what year,what oil ratio

Just aquired a cherry 9.5 sportwin the model39422RA, the serial#isE19900.Can anyone tell me the year and what gas/oil mix to use? Thank you new guy.

9422 is a 1964. That's as close as I can come. I can't guarantee it's 50:1 so be safe at 24:1 and use J6C Champions if you do.

The 9.5HP was built in 1964 through 1973. The only models with 9422 in the model numbers were the 1964 Evinrude models. All of the 9.5HP use 50:1 mix.

BTW, you will experience far less plug fouling and smoke if you use 100% synthetic TCW-3 oil in your mixture.
