9.8 hp throttle hook up/ lightning stator disconnect

What do I need to connect the throttle to the carburetor? I was also wondering if I can remove the lightning stator and use as a pull start only

You are missing some pieces that must go under the flywheel.

I do have the stator, it was off in the first photo. Is this what you’re talking about?

There is another piece missing.-----It rotates to change timing.
