9.8 mercury

i need a prop for a 1967 9.8 hp twin, model 110. <br />The serial number is 2196809. The spline only has 6 teeth. Please help!!!! I will do anything to get one.

Where have you looked? The normal, big internet prop places probably wont' list one for you. I tried to find one form y slightly newer ('74) 9.8 and couldn't find one on the internet. But, turns out they aren't all that tough to find as far as I know. My local merc dealer had them in stock - and the price was not bad at all, considering no shipping. If you haven't done it yet, ask at your local merc. dealer, or actually call the iBoats prop guys. If that doesn't work, call BAM marine or check oldmercs.com. You should be looking at $60 give or take.

The mecury dealers in my area are still trying to find one for me. Im not worried about the price as long as i can get a prop. The motor was given down to me and i want to keep it in good condition.
