9.9 hp throttle cables placement

I got an 1990 9.9 hp engine that had been sitting without use for 16 years, I think used once when bought new. The problem I have is the tube assembly-this is the throttle and steering handle bar-was damaged when I twisted too much and broke the plastic wheel. I got the new part but I don't know which way the cables are put in place the wheel as well as in the engine the engine compartment. Can someone help me by providing a picture of the 2 cables at the handle bar plastic wheel, and a picture of how the cable is put together in the engine? Thank you very much

I checked, actually it's a 1989 model, and they don't have the pics of cables assembled. Would a Seloc service manual show how the cables are put back together?

Possibly. But someone who is familiar with that set-up should come along soon. Hang in there for a bit and see what happens. But the Manual wouldn't hurt to have anyway..
