2012 excel stalker center console 18' it has a 80'' beam and weight 825 lbs.
The motor is a 2012 E-tec 90hp it weights 320 lbs and the ratio 2:0:1
total weight of the rig is 1245lbs with gas filled up .
As of now I have a 6" jackplate (manual) I measured center on the prop shaft to the pad and from a level ground to the pad subtracted those measurements and got 5.5 " they say i should be at 3.5" center prop shaft to bottom of the pad) scared to raise the motor higher because i dont want to pick up more R.P.M.'s as of now IM running a 13 7/8 X 19 pitch Viper S.S. prop and WOT IM turning 5950 RPM . At 46.5 MPH gps . Should I goto a 21 pitch s.s. Prop to cut my RPM closer to 5500 RPM? Or a 19 pitch with more cup?evinrude says 5200-5500 rpm max) i have 2" left of adjustment on the jackplate should i raise it those 2" and try a 21 pitch to lower my R.P.M.'s ? 536620_3756068458773_1188312749_3741540_115670583_n.jpg

Welcome aboard.

That is a beautiful boat and I do like the set up.

I would try to borrow a 21" for testing and yes a 21" will help with the rpms. Your hole shot may suffer but I doubt you will notice.

However...... Just an idea first...... make sure your tach is correct and have you tested the prop while loaded or just you alone? While being loaded you might be right on the money too.

Even though new; as suggested you might see if a tech can go along to verify the tach.
Put the boat through some maneuvers if you have no venting issues raise it more.
You might look over the stern see if you can see the anti vent plate.
It does appear the 21 could put you right on the money. With a new rig I would think you could try props till they get it right.

YES TO BOTH OF YA....yeah im loving this new rig just trying to get it right... im going check the rpm gauge today and see if its set on 5 or 6.. and yes i can swap my prop with the place i purchased the boat . i get a little lost in turns only when at wot but if i trim down a tad no lost.. as far as hole shot it jumps out the water blistering hole shot. great mid range it gets to 46 mph very fast. just i start to push it and it will do 50 mph but it starts to porpoise. just trying to loose some rpm and get a couple mph. i took the boat out by myself and loaded gas bait poles my buddy etc and it still ran 46 mph really couldnt see a big change .." i see the vent plate right on top the water while at wot "
