I have a 91 yamaha 150 2stroke thats runs greats for 5-8 minutes then the ball goes somewhat flat and the engine kicks back to an idle or dies out. When this is happening I quickly pull the fuel line off to let air in and put it right back on the fuel outlet and fill the ball back up with gas and it stays running great for another 5-8 minutes. I tried using a 6gal aux tank and it's doing the same thing. I also just replaced the 10micron water seperator, 2 new fuel pumps last year along with new primer bulb and fuel line. I cleaned the small fuel fliter next to the fuel pumps. I checked the Fuel fill line, return line and vent hose and all were clear and in working order. This has been racking my brain, why is the engine running out of fuel???? All help is appreciated, or feel free to call me on my cell 6109604902. The 59 gallon gas tank is aluminum if that helps anything!

Did you find the problem back in Aug. ?

Like they said there is a restriction in the line , tee in a pressure /vacuum gauge at different points in the line and that will show you where the restriction is located
