Hello and Happy New Year,

I need to know how to get the steering bracket off. I finally got the lower unit off. The steering bracket has to be replace because of the bolt for the tilt bracket broke off and the trim assist cylinder is cut off with the bolt siezed up. I can't find out out how to remove it. Really need help on this.

I agree. However you will need the motor hanging from a hook to remove the transom mount side plates. This will give you access to the pivot pin that I think you are referring to. If you go to a parts site B.N or BRP you can see the parts drawing for what you are doing.
