92 Mariner short continuous beeping

I have a 1992 Mariner That i just bought last year. it beeps twice before it starts and today it started beeping continuously once it started. Is this the Oil or Cooling system? Thanks

short beeps means oil is it using oil when you run it? if so its probably a faulty sender in the oil tank, with the engine running disconnect the wire from the tank if the alarm stops youve found the problem.To cure youll have to buy a new tank.<br />Continuous alarm is overheating

Tnak you. How long can you run it before it freezes/locks up, or causes damage?

If you are worried that the oil injection isnt working fill the fuel tank with 50.1 premix & run it on that until you have solved the alarm problem<br />The extra oil wont hurt it will probably smoke a bit more but will protect the engine if the injection is faulty
