What would cause the temp light to start blinking and the buzzer to come on when running above about 3000 rpm. Buzzer goes off in a couple of minutes when you stop running and idle. Has a good stream coming out of the telltale and shows good pressure on the gauge. The temp indicator shows normal temp. and both heads feel about the same. Not real hot feeling. The problem is not consistant. It may do it one day and not the next. Engine was recently de-scaled and has a new water pump so I feel fairly confident the problem is sensor or electrical related. I'd appreciate knowing if anyone has an idea as to where the problem could be and maybe how to troubleshoot it. How do you get the sensors out of the top of the block to check for corrosion? Is there a way to disconnect the sensors to troubleshoot, and where?

Thanks, Bill

if your positive its not actually overheating then next time the buzzer is sounding remove the hood and disconnect the pink wires from the temp switches on each head. the one that makes the buzzer quit when dissconected is the one triggering the alarm and should be removed for testing.

Thanks for the reply Rodbolt. How do you get the sensor out, and do you happen to know about what temp. the sensor closes the circuit?
Bill
