Re: 93' 120 Evinrude hard to start
When you first start your engine, does it crank over for a long time before firing? If so, it is not getting fuel soon enough, but may be getting oil.

One key thing, is to make sure to run the engine at high rpm at the end of the day, so when you store it, it isn't loaded up with oil.

The other thing, when you trailor or store the engine, the tilted up angle drains the float bowls. So, if you don't pump up the fuel primer bulb before you start it (with the engine upright), and during the first minute, the VRO will be over oiling the mixture going into the float bowls. At this time, when the engine is dead cold, the plugs can oil foul easily, and may never fire again until you pull them out and clean them. (big hassle at the boat ramp)
