HI,
Im going to look at a 93 Baja islander 180 3.0 mercruiser tomorrow and have a few questions..
After looking at the pics, i see that the front bow floor area is completely composite/fiberglass, and then it transitions to carpet from that area to the back of the boat.. Does that mean the entire floor is composite and just the rear is covered with carpet or could the rest of the floor actually be wood? I see quite a few boats with this style of fiberglass flooring up front followed by carpet.. also, the owner has it listed for 2700. nada values this boat at around $2000?!? i cant see that being right.. The boat looks to be in very good condition and includes trailer but the nada value is throwing me off here..wanted to get some input before i drive hours to go see this boat. thanks!!

If it was a V-6 the value would go WAY up, so it doesnt sont off to me. The floor is most likely plywood. Even under the front fiberglass bow. When you go look at it, stick your head in the ski locker. You will Know for sure.

NADA is a joke, I'd like to find some of what they're drinking or smoking when they list most of those values.

Check around real good for any soft spots in the deck, that's a sure giveaway of deeper problems.
