My engine runs fine most of the time but occasionally will bog down at half or better throttle. when this happens it may be for a couple seconds or sometimes 30ish seconds. I have added sea foam just in case this is an issue cased by a small amount of water but have not seen any real change. Any suggestions where to go from here? would the carb reeds cause this as I have noticed a very small amount of blow back fuel at the intake?

Just for GP.Do a compression test. Then check the fuel pump diaphram.
Any inline connectors remove them. They can leak and suck air.
Replace all hoses including the squeezie.Check the vent hose for obstructions.
Install a water/fuel seperating filter to make sure their is no water getting to the carbs.J

Thanks jerry. took it out yesterday and was doing it at first then after running for a while I never had it happen again. hope the problem is gone but will see. gonna overhaul the fuel pump in the winter. boat sat for about 2 years with little to no use before I bought it. figure that the reeds might be dried out. hope that is what it is anyway
