just traded my 1989 aquasport 175 center console for a 1994 trophy with a 1994 90 hp force. motor runs awsome it has been rebuilt 1 year ago. my question is : i run the motor in a 55 gallon drum because the muffs dont fit to good over the water intake , after flushing the salt from the motor and empting the barrel i notice dark brown oil leaking from the small middle holes under the cavitation plate. it is just a little stream of oil on both sides is this normal??is it from the exhaust? drained the lower unit oil , its new and green in color, no water. are those 3 holes on each side of the lower supposed pee water while running?it pees water out the exhaust like crazy witch is good. any info would be great . this force runs better than any motor i have ever owned , it sat for a week and started on the second crank . AWSOME!!
thanks

Thats probably just unburned fuel.It has way of leaking down.
The water is from water that gets in while in the barrel and just finding it's way out.Jerry
