94 Force Tilt and Trim

I have a 94 40hp Force. The motor started to tilt all the way up on it's own. Sometimes in the garage sometimes trailering. To get it to go back down you had to hit the up switch. Then it went down too fast. Then it seemed to work okay.

Now it will tilt down but not trim down the rest of the way.

I plan to check fluid level, flush air and then check relays and all three switches.

Anything obivious to anyone?

sounds like wiring. if fluid is wrong then it works perfectly but just won't lift up all the way. Try pulling cable out of housing so that you can directly touch wires to battery. See if it goes up/down that way. If works perfectly then problem is in wiring/relays. If doesn't work directly wired then problem is in motor.
