I have a 6o hp mercury 2 stroke oil-injected motor that has a rough idle but runs out good until you hit a good size wake.Then the rpms rise and fall until it finally stays at 3000 rpm at full throttle.It still runs smooth it just will not gain rpms until you pull the plugs and clean them after that it does ok for a few minutes and then goes back to the 3000rpms.Also at idle it seems to smooth out if you bump the choke.But it also seems to run very rich.Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
