I have a 98 90 hp 2 stroke Yamaha that when cold started seems stuck in high rpm. In the past it had the 3 stage kickdown as it warmed up. Now this high rpm will last approximately 20 minutes after I get on the water. Also i can not get the boat to go above mid range rpm or even on plane even with throttle open. Then motor will cough a few times then fix itself. Usually that takes about 1 minute from the first cough. Motor runs great after that and starts and idles as it should. This problem seemed to start out of the blue. I live in Florida so the boat is out almost every weekend. I use non ethanol fuel and it has new plugs. Thank you for any help
