99 seadoo gti fuel problems

I got a 99 seadoo gti single carb when I hit the start button it cranks right up and will idle great.. all this is done on the trailer by the way. When I hit the gas it sprays fuel back out the top of the carb and bogs down and cuts off ! I bought rebuild kit for it and did that and put it back on and ot still does the same thing. Anyone know how to fix this??? Thanks

sounds like a bad rotary valve, either out of time or really scored and leaking air past it.

The rotary plate is behind the carb right ? Its kinda like a half moon looking thing ? And it works like a reed valve on a 2 stroke ? I've rebuilt many of 2 stroke bikes but never done work to a seadoo.. what bolts am I looking to take off to get to rotary valve ? DoD I need to pull motor out ? Or can I do with motor still in it ?

it is a flat round disc that is located under the intake manifold it is driven by a brass gear off the crank shaft , if it is bad you will need a repair manual to do it and a degree wheel to set it correctly.
