'99 Suzuki 70hp misses at 3500 rpm, fine at 4000

Any idea why this occurs?
Also, high high in terms of rpm is it wise to take it? I don't go over 4000.

May be some trash in one of carb jets, need to clean carbs. RPM range on most outboards if 4500 to 5500RPM's, so anything in that range is fine. I try to run my 90HP at the most fuel efficient 3500 RPM's, but motor will turn 5500 easily but really sucks the fuel at upper RPM's. Good Luck!
