My 99 225 EFI started running terrible the other day and I changed the plugs and I found water in the fuel filter which I cleaned out. The next trip the new NGK plugs I had put in fouled also, but no water in filter this time.
I am losing power, about 25-50% at different times and occasionally notice a knock in engine but not all the time. Could my fuel/oil mixture be off and how would I check that? Any help will be appreciated.
