99 Yamaha 90 2-stroke multi tach

I have a 99 90hp 2-stroke. My multifunction tach is badly faded. Does anybody know the part# of the new one I need.I'ld prefer just to plug/play and avoid wiring up a new harness. My current tach reads trim/temp/oil and has no button (set & mode). Thanks

you should be able to order one on line from Yamaha parts or get one at your dealer and just pop it in there. you're already wired up for it, so you can just move the wires to the same terminals as your old tach. I've changed mine and if I can do it, I'm sure anybody can! in fact my motor is a 1999 and finally some moisture got in the tach and screwed it up so I replaced it with a water-resistant model for a few bucks more....so far, so good!

From what I've read the plug set up is different for certain years. I called Yamaha today and they could not research back that far.? He told me to try the 6Y5-8350T-82-00 and it should fit if not I would have to buy the harness.I would like to buy one from ebay.
