Keep in mind, the Forsale post.<br /><br />I was just contacted by Ron, my boss.<br /><br />All his email has been removed from his computer. His inbox, outbox, sent items, and Del items are all gone.<br /><br />Also his accounting program will not function.<br /><br />Is this just a coincidence?<br /><br />TMD

You don't think someone from here somehow hacked into his computer do you? Well, I can tell you that is next to impossible.<br /><br />Is his computer online through a dedicated (constant) connection? If not, it IS impossible.<br /><br />Anyway, tell me what happened what OS he running, what mail program, etc, etc and I'll try to help.<br /><br />Just from the sound of it he may have logged into the computer under a different user w/o realizing it (if Win 98 or beyond) - usually that is why programs appear to be missing and email in programs like outlook don't show up.<br /><br />The other possibility is he downloaded a virus - does he use anti-virus software?

We have someone working on it as I am writing this.<br /><br />Luckily my brother in law is VERY good at this kind of thing. If it was a hacker..he or she will be caught. There are always finger prints left.<br /><br />TMD

Talk about strange occurances - on this post, TMD has 1158 posts @ 11:30 am - on the for sale thread he has 1182 posts @ 10:12 am. I am verrrrryyyy confused.

What the??? Spinner, I swear when I posted that it said 1158. I wasn't trying to be a pr!ck, I just couldn't figure out how the # of posts could diminish. ( I thought I was going nuts when I first saw it and actually wrote the times and posts down on a note in front of me as I popped back and forth, I am looking at it right now.)<br />Oh Well.. ????????????????????

My grandad, always said that was "YAHOOTY" that caused all of that crazy stuff (like your radio used to go off when you crossed under a viaduct). Of course that was before we were first contacted, and became aware of the "ALIENS" (which happened about 1948).

i think in several cases it might be different - but 'in the ole days' you only got 1 post per topic... <br /><br />ie: if you replied 15x here, you still only got 1 incremental post. but to tell you the truth, it must have changed, because some people are gaining 30 posts a day 'round' here.
