I have reentered the boating world after a few years out (15-18) got a boat from a buddy. It"s a 77 starcraft capri 15 with 78 evinrude 75hp. after a little work on carbs she runs great. BUT when i ski it just needs a little out of the hole. not her problem I am just over 300 and after 15 years not skiing only tried 3 times till I got up. Wood tabs help with bow rise out of hole. Has anyone them on trihule?

Yes, Smart Tabs will help it get out of the hole. A foil would also but don't put both on. Moving weight to the bow will also help a lot, as I'm sure you know. Were you on two skis?

Yes 2 larger skies sold as singles learned to ski behind 71 50hp a little less me then.

I don't know if tabs will help on a boat that small but you could think about a prop pitch change. Might be cheaper and less work.

Why not both out of curiosity? I was considering it on my 82 19' bayliner with a 120 4 cyl as there is no power trim and I have small foils, was considering options.
