Adjustable Trailer Bunk??????

Have a older Little dude trailer ...one of the bunks has a handle and adjustable bolt that raises and lowers the one bunk, have never seen this before......it is only on one bunk, is there any special purpose for this or benefit of this setup?? any help or info greatly appreciated...

I can't imagine why it is only one bunk. A picture might change that.

I have an older Holsclaw trailer that has 4 arms that can raise and lower along with roller bunks that can be positioned a different widths and pitches. I think any length boat that will fit can be accommodated. If I buy a newer boat, I plan to keep the trailer.
