I think I am looking at this wrong & the numbers don't match up. Can you tell me what manual i need for my Volvo Penta 3.0GSM-A? (that number is off the valve cover) there is also 40102043627 & 3869105. Thanks! Rob.

Bowler, that is very helpful, THANKS! That gives me an operators manual (that I didn't have). I am still trying to verify that I have the right engine model. I think that mine is an EF, but I just wanted to verify.

Your engine is newer than an EF. And your serial number 40102043627 didn't work. It has 11 numbers. Should be 10. Could you check it.
