hi,<br /> i read in another article johnson hard starting probs and not firing. would it hurt if i sprayed 1/2 ouch of of gas in the cylinders after i took the plug out and replaced the plug and tried to see if it will fire. thanx......tex

Howdy, TX.<br /><br />I would put some fuel mix in a spray bottle and spray it into the carb(s). The crank and rods depend on fuel being circulated in the crankcase for lubrication. <br /><br />Squirting fuel directly into the cylinder has a greater probability of flooding.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . .<br />JB
