after new power unit

i have an old inline black 6 witch throw number 3 conrod what i want to know is ? is it worth finding an power unit to replace the old 1 or be done with it and just get a new motor (only just recoed the gearbox) if not i have 2 gearboxs 1 long shaft 1 short shaft with 3in extention both later modal the power unit

If you could find a cheap donor engine it might be but remember the key word is cheap
