I just bought a new truck with leather seats and am thinking about getting seat heaters and installing them myself. At -30 sitting on a leather seat can suck all the heat outta the cheeks and I would like to change that.According to the sites that sell them it's not that hard of a job. Is there any one here that has done this that can help me with a few questions I have on the kits and the install?

I have seen them installed. I am familiar with Rostra electronic products and they supply for many OEM cars and trucks.

Not a hard job and I know that a set of hog pliers will help out.

Re: Aftermarket seat heaters

Thank's for the info. I decided to do it myself after the local shop quoted me $350 for 1 seat. I got 2 kits for $85 each. Now if I don't wreck any thing doing it myself it's a good deal.
