Air Bubbles in the Glass Fuel Filter,,,,

I put a new glass filter on between the fuel pump and the carbs
It started up great ,,,then the glass filter got low and gas and air bubbles started filling it ,,then it started balking and running rough.
I noticed gas leaking from the connection from the hose to engine male & Female connectors and when I moved them I could here what sounded like pressure escaping,,,,I bought new connectors and bulb and fuel line from gas tank to fuel pump,,I will try it tomorrow,,any feedback to check any thing else would be appreciated,,,,thanks,,Mike

You're already suspecting the most likely culprits.

I also put a new diaphram in the fuel pump the other day,,,I hope this will do it,,,thanks,,Mike
