Re: alarm and engine light
hey brain surgin I have one it didnt help. I thought these sites were for help why are you if people asking questions is a waste of time to you.
Boy, you're lucky to get any help at all with that pissy attitude.
If you indeed have an owner's manual, you would know that it is a fuel restriction alarm. This is the absolutely most basic stuff the operator must know, right up there with "pump the bulb, turn the key to start."
But your original post indicated that you had no idea what the alarm was even for. This in turn indicates you really would need to get an owner's manual if you don't have one! Therefore, his comment was entirely appropriate.
An approriate response from you would have been:
"Thanks. Yes, I do have an owner's manual and know that it's a fuel restriction alarm. But I can't figure out what to do about it. I'm wondering if anyone can give me some pointers how to troubleshoot it."
or:
"Thanks. I don't have an owner's manual, and thanks for the heads up. I will try to get one as soon as I can. In the mean time, what is a fuel restriction? What causes it? Is it something I can troubleshoot myself?"
Now was that so hard?
