That is is your oiler alarm so you will need to find out whats up .Unplug the sender and see if the horn goes away.If so the sender is bad .

I have the same exact thing happening. May need help finding the sensor, haven't looked it up yet.<br />How would you know the senders bad?

I have the same problem on a Merc 115hp. On my motor I was told by a mechanic to disconnect one of the two blue wires on the oil sensor module that are connected by bullet connectors. If the warning horn stops then it was probably the float in the plastic oil tank and would need to replace tank. If the horn still beeps then it was probably the sensor.

Try topping off the motor mounted tank. Does the beeping stop for a while? Could be a gummed up oil line or a cracked cap.

I have a 94 115 HP, I am looking at Seloc manual. I see exactly what your saying about disconnecting one of the blue wires.<br />If it is the sensor can that be changed or must you replace the oil tank? <br />Is there a way to clean the float and how hard is it to remove the oil tank? <br />This board is great! Thanks for your help.

One more thought...I just looked at the schematic again. If I disconnect one of the blue wires to the low oil sensor and it stops beeping couldn't it be either the low oil sensor or the float. bump....trying to figure out what to do after I disconnect the blue wire. Can the float be fixed and how can you test the sensor and low oil module.

thanks everyone solved the problem the unplugged one blue wire as suggested the beeping stopped then plugged wire back in and turned the oil tank upside down beeping stopped replaced oil tank and everything is fine thanks again
