Alignment tool part number and gimbal tool confirmation please

Good morning,

I was hoping someone could help confirm what tool is correct for my engine / drive alignment of the three choices below, as well as the link to the Gimbal install tool ?

I understand that Merc tools can be used on my VP drive.

Also looking at the Gimbal removal tools on ebay seem very expensive. Is there an alternative device someone can suggest?

Any alignment tool for a Mercruiser will work for your Volvo. Same with the gimbal bearing tool. I personally don't like the tool you show for the fact that you will have to beat on it while it's going into the coupler. The gimbal bearing is not always square with the gimbal housing when properly aligned (That's why it's a "GIMBAL" bearing and not a ball bearing) and you can damage the housing or the coupler hammering things together that are not square.

That is 1 part of 3 needed to assemble the Mercruiser tool.

It's called a slide hammer, you can borrow/rent one from some auto parts stores.
