Alpha One Gimbal housing bolts?

Going over my boat (new to me, only had it out a few times at end of last season). Found my two lower gimbal housing bolts, the ones with the zincs threaded on the end, looked quite corroded,. Long story short I snapped it off at the head (PO didn't replace zincs as they disappeared). Looking for new bolts I found some at marinepowerservice.com but for two bolts/washers/zincs I'm looking at about $150 from them. Not having luck finding the bolts at other places. Anyone have a more reasonably priced source? If I gotta spend that money then so be it, as any through-hull bolt is kinda not to be skimped on, but that just seems quite excessive.

Also, how the heck is one supposed to get to the backside nut in the bilge area? Looking like not a very fun job. May need to find a scrawny neighborhood teen to get an arm in there! The exhaust Y-pipe is very much in the way.

Well after some digging I found a new bolt kit for a reasonable price from eBasic Power. Same company I ordered all my bellows, water pump, etc. stuff from.

Anyhow, still could use some tips on how a normal sized person is supposed to reach the nuts for these lower bolts without pulling the engine! Maybe I shoulda got into yoga.

without pulling the engine!
only you can see your situation. some things on a boat are just plain not serviceable w/o getting something else out of the way. in your case. maybe it's the engine. if ya can't reach them, ya can't reach them. so ya gotta move something out of the way so ya can get to them. if ya do reach them, the next question is there a hope of getting a wrench ontoit? i know on my boat of one item that i should be able to do from the outside. but by design of my boat, when i need to R&R my gimble ring. i'm gonna have to do everything. engine out, gimble housing off. then i'll be able to remove one pin to get the gimble ring off. it's just the nature of the game. no i'm not looking fwd. to my day when it comes either... sure sounds like a lot of work just to go get one or two bolts don't it, problably is... i wish you luck..

Ayuh,... It's usually done with the motor Out.....
Good Luck,+ Check for Rot in the lower transom when you get there...
