No. Replacement rings come with bushings for hinge pins installed. The way you felt the pins in the ring is what it is. That is why it's important that the synthane washers are in place. Make sure the grease holes are clear on the ring before you reassemble.

I will double check the grease holes, but they have been fine when I've been doing maintenance in the past.

The plastic washers between the bellhousing and gimbal ring were in place and apear to be in fairly good shape near as I can tell.
Hinge pins don't show any obvious visual wear, but that's not to say they aren't worn.


If the hinge pins are good and it's the hole in the gimbal ring, sounds like the only way to fix that is a ring replacement if the bushings aren't sold seperately?
