alt ?

i have a mando 55 amp alt for my omc chevy 5.7..... can i get a rebuilt kit or should i just get a new alt??? my batt gauge says alt is putting out around 10 to 11 volts..... thanks

You probably have a starter/alternator/electric motor repair shop in your area, have the check it out and rebuild it. It will be like new when done, and a lot less than a new one. Even cheaper that the cheap offshore junk. Will last longer too.

... and he does mean a LOT less. I was just worried about mine a couple weeks ago and looked at a replacement and a rebuild. WOW.

Fortunately, mine was workin' fine.

repair shop said my alt was to damage to be rebuild it will be better just to get a new one so my ? is will this one work good New Mercruiser Marine Alternator Delco 3 Wire 110 Amp | eBay ...... looks like this alt is a good one he sold 134 alts....... thanks
