Anyone watching the finals? I've been watching it all along but this is the last show. I'm hoping for Michael Grimm. He's quite the singer.

Re: America's Got Talent

I've been watching it with my daughter who watches it religiously. What's wrong with America when Prince Poppicock is still there. Ya, he has a good voice, but he's a freak! Putting it lightly. That little Jackie girl is set for life even if she doesn't win. She's already been booking major shows. Fighting Gravity is probably more of a true Vegas looking act. I wouldn't doubt if they win. Just anybody but the Poppicock freak!

Re: America's Got Talent

I usually enjoy Prince Poppycock. He is a very good novelty entertainer but I don't think he should sing. . .no power.

I think Jackie is terrific. Sensational voice used well but the outstanding thing is her image.. .sooo sweet, vulnerable, humble and as charming as a speckled pup. Not many people like classics and that will hurt her in the vote. She got my vote.

Fighting Gravity is unique. Never saw anything like that before. Fascinating to watch.

Michael is good, but so are a thousand others of the same style. Not my style.

Regardless of who wins I think all four are great talents who will prosper.

Fighting Gravity would make you laugh if they would turn on the house lights while they were performing.
It really quite simple what they do.
A local high school group was doing it a few years back at our "art expo".

ArcAttack was THE made for Vegas act, and they got axed a few weeks ago.

Re: America's Got Talent

i like Michael Grimm as well, good singer and I enjoy that style. although I must admit I'm tired of hearing his poor me and I'm just here for my grandparents story. seems he may be leaning on that a bit too hard.

Fighting Gravity I think is the most "Vegas style" act of the remaining with the possible exception of Prince Poppycock, how perfect to go to a show like this with a "joke name" basically and do so well. I think he is actually entertainging but I agree with the judge last night he shouldn't get too serious. he was very good as a semi funny act.

Jackie still creeps me out that someone so young can sing like that. I doubt she'll win but at least we know what she'll do for a living. better make her money fast though as older teen and young twenties girls don't get a lot of gigs from singing opera.

all in all I am hoping for Michael to win but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see FG get it.

Now, Ice Road Truckers is an awesome show. You have my vote on that one. I like Lisa Kelly. She's so cool. However, it's on after America Got Talent. So I guess I can enjoy both shows.

Yea,Lisa is so cool...I would team drive with her anytime!
I'm a solo driver and have been for years.
I'm heading to California the first of the month driving the Speed Channel rig to Fontana for the race.

Re: America's Got Talent

Back to the original question and before the thread gets locked....I haven't watched it much, but my wife has had it on an dI've been around.

I'll go out on a limb and say the little girl's gonna take it, the balance being tipped by the "cute factor". ;)

At least IRT is a repeat. Poppycock 1st to go, then Fighting Gravity(that was a surprise). Pulling for that little Jackie girl. Bet that Grimm guy is thinking, "I'm screwed", about now. Not that she really needs the win, but hey, why not.....

So Gary, do you get to watch the race? Do you always drive SPEED's rig to the different tracks?

It is part time but i'm trying to get on full time.

Very cool.......

You didn't change the subject, I did.......

The Grimm guy won her. Did anyone see Sharons face afterward? Looked like she was telling the other 2, "you've got to be kidding".

I see Black Sabbath is being featured on the Biography channel now. So we go from Sharon to Ozzie......

she was probably saying now she had to pay the old man his $100.

Jewel and Mike Grimm sounded very good. I was surprised she didn't come out sooner though. has anyone else noticed since she married Ty she has really become quite attractive. better lifestyle or something but she just looks "better" for lack of a better word. no physical changes just better.

Re: America's Got Talent

The little girl truly is an angel sent from heaven. Her voice is amazing for anyone yet someone so young. I am glad the young man won, He can now provide the home for his grandparents that raised him. As for the prince,I lost all respect for him when he went blatant about his orientation when he said emphasis on "fairy" I do not care what or who you are, but please do not shove it at me. I have a gay cousin and we have had that discussion as well and she does not understand it either. All in all my daughter liked the show, was disappointed at the end that the young girl did not win, but all in all she was happy.

Re: America's Got Talent

money wise it's probly better she didn't win. she'll have a cd out by the end of the month.
it shows that content over talant wins out in the usa every time.
im not bashing the guy but 100000000s of guys can sing like that.
for a 10 year old to have a voice like that is real talent
