Oh my God! If I was a New York tax payer I would be seriously ticked. That goes for state and the city. Next thing you will see is a separate school for SBN's aliens.

Hey MY, that may be the case geographically and idealogically. However, If the city receives state aid for education (which you know it does) and you pay state taxes, (ie. sales, income, fuel, buy lottery tickets) guess where some of that money will be going.

MY, you would be surprised. I work for a local township government as assist tax collector being one of my duties I get to see where the money goes. We (NJ) have the highest property taxes in the country and the state still gives aid to the schools. Most of your text books are paid for by the state and any grants are funded by the state. What's worse is that if the city receives any federal assistance we are all paying for this school. <br /><br />The more I think about all the rat holes my tax dollars go down the more I think about moving to the Cayman Ils. Good fishing down there anyway.

So...<br /><br />Who asked for this gay and lesbian High School?<br /><br />As a resident of New York State, I know that I did not ask for this!<br /><br />And for that matter, I don't know anyone who did ask for it, but yet I'm forced to pay for it !<br /><br />This is the kind of OPPRESION I have been talking about in the other threads.<br /><br />Besides, why do they need their own school?<br /><br />Are they going to be taught differently?<br /><br />The reason they want their own school is because they are afraid of anyone who is not like them, and the teachers (who are gay) will then be able to teach them how to undermine the government to get YOU to accept their illegal and imoral lifestyle and have YOU pay for all their illnesses and problems associated with their gay activities!<br /><br />I do not appreciate the HOMOSEXUALS being allowed to flaunt their gayness in front of my children.<br /><br />The message that this is conveying to the younger generations is, that this is the way all people should act... GAY!!!<br /><br />Personally, I don't know how I would react to 1 of my children comming home and telling me that they were gay, because someone said that it's normal and OK to be gay.<br /><br />That person that told my child that, would be hunted down, that much I'm sure, but as to what happens to them, would be out of my control, and I would probably get lethal injection, but it would be worth it!<br /><br />I don't care what anyone might claim, but in my opinion, HOMOSEXUALITY is a mental disorder and should be treated as such .<br /><br />Remember...<br /><br />It's Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve ! <br /><br />Kenny

Well, I thought that Calipornia, and San Francisco were the destination of people who were sick in the head, but it looks like New York, and New York City is trying to out-qu**r them. I no longer use the word gay, for the first half of my life, if you looked the word gay up in the dictionary, you would have found --<br /><br />gay (ga) adj. 1 joyous and lively; merry; happy; lighthearted; 2 bright; brilliant (bright colors); 3 given to social life and pleasures (a gay life) <br /><br />When a sick bunch of degenerates adopted the word for their own, I quit using it and refuse to even recognize it as a word, and this is not on Christian, or religous grounds, this is based on nature and common sense. If my 5th grade english teacher was still alive, she wolud not believe the words that the liberl society we have become has added to the dictionary, words that just were not used and were not recognized were never in the dictionary, I have in my hand the Websters New World College Dictionary, and it is full of words that have been added, that if I used here would no doubt be eddited out by JB or admin, and other words I do not use. So thusly I refuse to be politically correct, and the words that I use are the correct descriptions, qu**r, fag, dike, sicko, homosexual, and so on. These people, are not normal, are definently sick, and there is no way any one with any sense at all could consider them as "normal", and if it is true that they have no choice, and cannot help it (which I do not believe) then they are definently freaks of nature, and are truely a freak of nature, as is a three leggeg goose, or a five legged calf (which does happen from time to time)..

This is just the beginning. I just read in today's paper how they are trying to get the Episcopal and Catholic church to accept their lifestyle as moral. Bottom line is they are asking religions to change their basic code of eithics so they can 'fit in'.<br /><br />

The declaration of independence states that that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.<br /><br />The bible cleary "states" that some men are more equal that others and therefore should trump other American's desires for freedom and acceptance, for something they cannot change.<br /><br />Maybe if everyone treated gays and lesbians with the human decency they deserve, they would not need to spend your tax dollars for a segrated school.<br /><br />If my child told me he was gay, my biggest fear is that he would have to live his life, constantly fighting homophibic hate and religous bigotry.<br /><br />Just my opinion.

Hey Marty_sher, if your son was gay, all he would have to do was keep it to his self, and no one would know about it. We are not the problem, the problem is you have a bunch of sick freaks, and they think they are the normal ones, and are trying to change society to accept their sick, degenerate ways as normal behavior. I agree with Marty, my point is that what I do in the bedroom and with whom or what is my private business. It does not and has not entered as a factor in my school or home life.<br /><br />I work in a very diverse company and have many acquaintances that are gay and I really don't find that it impacts our interactions in the work arena or even getting a beer after work. I treat them the same as any other co-worker. Like any two people that connect, we may have different lives and not have that much in common, but I cannot be arrogant enough to condemn them for their practices. I don't have to promote it either. Tolerance goes a long way.<br /><br />I just don't understand why they need a parade and a school and special bumper stickers. <br /><br />On that note, anybody interested in being in my semi bald, white married guy between the age of 35 and 40 with 2.5 kids parade?? I really need some togetherness right now.

I once had a friend, (about 40 years ago) that was probably G**, we used to double date. He was male hair stylist (that ran his own shop, where all the single girls, and shady ladies visited), and really knew the girls, and we used to double up and go out on the town. He had a steady girlfriend, and he kept me in dates with his clients. I am sure, that he was not straight, but I never really knew for sure, and that is the way it should be. What a person does in privacy is up to them and their (willing) partner, but it should be kept in private, then there would be no problem. Flaunting it is asking for trouble, and it is "ONE SICK SOCIETY " that I find myself in, where it is being forced down our throat, that this represents a sane, normal, acceptable, decent, safe (medically, physically, and mentally) and merely an alternate life style, "WHICH IT IS NONE OF THE ABOVE". Hey, I am surprised plywoody hasn't jumped in here with both feet.

The point here guys is not if you tolerate those of different sexual preferance. It is whether or not these people should be taken out of main stream education and given their own school based on their lifestyle CHOICE! And You and I will be paying for said education.<br /><br />If you follow this through to it's logical conclusion there would have to be a school for hispanic's, blacks, SBN's aliens, athieist, Jevoah Witness's, People who like the color purple, etc. And we would have to pay for it.<br /><br />I thought the Civil Rights Movement was to end segregation.

Not once anywhere have I seen or read about 2 of the same sex being on Noah's arc. <br /><br />And they don't wake up one morning and all of a sudden realize that they want to be a bend over billy. <br /><br />There is something wrong with these people and if they want to live together, we should find them their own private island somewhere. <br /><br />That way I don't have to look at them.<br />BTW, wonder how many of them aids carrying people work where you eat. <br /><br />Never heard of a gay free restaurant. <br /><br />Maybe there should be.<br />Wonder how that would go over?

I don't understand...if they want to be accepted in mainstream society why they want to be segregated. However, if thats what floats their boat they should find the means to pay for it themselves. Besides, is a teenager really aware of their sexuality enough to say hey, I'm gay?<br /><br />I can't believethe ACLU isn't all over this. Just think what would happen if we tried to have a high school that discriminated against students who claimed to be gay.

I can't leave this alone.<br /><br />How can we as Americans sit back and allow a segregated school system to arise in this country based on privileges for sexual deviants? Trust me, its not the children requesting this school, its a group of gays who think its okay to condone this lifestyle to teenagers who are still experimenting with sex.<br /><br />Will the taxpayers have to now fund schools for any elite and favored political activists to impose their agenda on society? Maybe a school for 'skin heads' and Hitler Youth programs should be next on the list.<br /><br />These schools not only harm the individual children who are victims of them but they are an attempt to create a segregated society that will provide privileges and special power to a favored group who rebel normal male/female behavior and oppose the basic family foundation.<br /><br />This cannot be tolerated, it must be fought and ended at all costs. This has got to be stopped through the force of legislation and lawsuits. <br /><br />I'm personally sick of the 'dumbing down of America' and diluting of Christian beliefs. Its time to take a stand, things have gone too far.
