Don't you just love the way people will take out of context what a person said, and turn it into what they think that person said?<br /><br />The President said that we are all sinners, that includes everyone, not just the gays and lesbians.<br /><br />Basically the President even called the Pope a sinner, which at some point in his life he had sinned in one way or another, which is the point that he was conveying.<br /><br />But once again, those that did not listen to what was said, and only heard what they wanted to hear, is what the media is enphacizing to the public, not the Presidents message, which was totally different then what is being reported by the media.<br /><br />But, the way the President meant what he said is not being reported, is because there is no story to report, so instead, the media has minipulated what was said so that it became a story, so as to get their Pulitzer Prizes and any other award they can get for their incorrect journalism!<br /><br />Isn't it about time that the media be held reponsible for the lies that they trump up, just to sell their paper or media outlet?<br /><br />This is "Fair and Balanced"?<br /><br />No way!<br /><br />Kenny

Although I have no problem with Bush stating his personal moral view on gay marriages, I would be upset if a Liberal or Athiest was in office and did the same and/or tried to back a law that does not oppose it. We are going down a very dangerous road here.<br /><br />On the subject of the federally funded gay high school, a subject I'm not willing to let go of. I can't help but think since we are discussing a high school, and we are dealing with children between the ages of 14 and 18. Last I checked, that constituted a minor (at least prior to their 18th birthday. Why is the sexuality of a minor a focus for attention at a place of education? High schools exist to educate and properly socialize our children, and prepare them to be better citizens. It is not the function of any high school to promote or condone the sexuality of minors in their care.<br /><br />When these children are encouraged to “follow their feelings, do what feels good” many do. When they have homosexual feelings, as most do, they could be told that it’s okay to act on them. The Harvey Milk High School exists to reinforce homosexual feelings and to portray homosexuality as normal. Education will be a secondary aspect of their existence. This is IMO is wrong.

Hey Ralph,<br /><br />The "Safety of the Gay Children"?<br /><br />So who is going to be responsible for the safty of those children, when they all contract AIDS?<br /><br />They will most likely say that it's the Presidents fault, for not doing anything about AIDS, so the government should pay for their care, even though AIDS has been around for over 20 years now, along with the fact that the Government has aready spent billions of dollars to educate everyone about the dangers and how to avoid contracting AIDS, and as long as they can blame George W. Bush, it would be OK by them.<br /><br /> NOT!! <br /><br />Its not the President, who would be trying to poke someone in the butt unprotected, it would be those specific individuals, so they can just pay for it themselves, just for being stupid!<br /><br />I guess that's what they will be teaching them, how to be stupid with their lives by following an immoral and dangerous lifestyle at the expence of the taxpayers!<br /><br /> UNEXCEPTABLE!! <br /><br />Kenny

Yah, good call, lakeman1999 <br /><br />That young people should hide their true feelings just because societies homophobes and religious zealots would rather have it that way.<br /><br />Maybe if they stay in the "closet" long enough their depression and detachment will drive them to blow their brains out. Hey, problem solved, at least for societies "normal" people.<br /><br />I don't consider denial an acceptable or healthy solution for anything my children will face.<br /><br />

Hey Marty_sher, if your son was gay, all he would have to do was keep it to his self, and no one would know about it. We are not the problem, the problem is you have a bunch of sick freaks, and they think they are the normal ones, and are trying to change society to accept their sick, degenerate ways as normal behavior. Good grief, like I always say everyone is out of step but me, Huh!!!

It merely keeps one poster from being able to overrun the board with continuous posts with very little time between them.<br /><br />As you can imagine, someone bent on trying to overload the board could do so if the flood control was not there to protect it.

Thank you Mod'1, I thank you for your responce, and I understand. What had upset me, is that I had worked for some time on the post, and thought that I had lost it, and had done all of the composing for nothing, but then after asking for the explanation, found that my post had appeared (where as, I originally thought it had been censored).
