As many of you may have read I recently had an issue with my warning horn sounding which indicated either an 'overheat warning' or a 'fuel restriction'. The warning horn would sound even without the engine started, and when I would turn the key to the 'on' position. I resolved this problem by backtracking and turning off my aerator switch on the bow which had been in the 'on' position since the problem started.
Now, I have an intermittent chirp that went off twice today. It was the 'low oil' indicator, but the oil was full! It went off once when I was pulling out of the dock, and once when I slowed down to stop 20 minutes later. It chirped only twice today, and it was only last weekend that I had the 'overheat' or ' fuel restriction' warning tone.
I have looked high and low, and cannot find a wiring diagram for this particular remote control. Could someone please post it if you have one?
Also, is it possible that my VRO is going out since it gave the constant tone last weekend, and now it is giving the chirp? The constant tone could have been either an overheat warning or a fuel restriction warning last weekend, and now it is giving off a low oil chirp.
Thanks for the help.
