Thanks again everyone for your support and kind words.<br /><br />To say this has been a long day would be quite the understatement.<br /><br />I have done nothing today but sit and think about what I could have done, but it all happened so quick, that it was over in a flash.<br /><br />One moment I am following this car, and the next, I am holding this poor helpless, motionless body that had got ejected from her car.<br /><br />Pouring the rain and dark on a lonely ol backroad here at home, not much of a pretty site for sure.<br /><br />Although the EMT's got there asap, I don't think they could have done anything to save her cause I think she was gone as soon as she went through the glass.<br /><br />I spent about 3 hours at the Police Station today doing the report thing.<br /><br />Did find out that she was just 18 and on her way to school.<br /><br />No seat belt was worn and she dies of massive head trauma.<br /><br />Such a loss.<br /><br />To top that, I have to pass by there ever morning from now on.<br />Maybe find a way around it or a different route for a while.<br /><br />Again, thanks everyone for having them broad shoulders for me to lean on.<br /><br />That is another reason why this place is great.<br /><br />Not all here like me or my funnies and that's ok too, cause I know the one's that do, out number the one's that don't.
