Hi guys just curious, is it necessary to glass in the whole plywood floor or just the edges where its cut and where it meets the hull? I was going to use fiberglass cloth and resin with a hardner over the entire floor. It would save me a lot of time and money if i just glassed in the edges and 6-8 inches up the hull. Im almost there i think now i just need a motor and controlls.

Re: Another flooring question

ohh i forgot to mention that my plan is to paint the floor with a epoxy paint from walmart and add a bag or 2 of that non skid stuff that you add to the paint to make it non skid so noone slips and falls. The color of the stuff is like a light grey charoal. Its really light color lighter than grey. Thanks in advance for the replies

How long were you planning on keeping and using the boat? The better the seal the longer the life. I would glass in the whole floor.
