Here's one I just saw: Open Bow SeaRay 200
Check the hull on this one real close … the waterline on the hull suggests it's been sitting in the water a LOT. A lot of boats do, but sometimes that can accelerate rot in places if they're not cared for … as in, you never washed the waterline off the boat.

Out of all the boats you've posted so far I like the 1995 20' Monterey Montura 196 the best. Both because of engine size and it appears to be well cared for although you'll only know for sure after a full survey. While the 3.0 and 4.3 are both good motors for your size boat you would be a little bit underpowered with the 3.0 . As others have stated don't get caught up in all the extra stuff when looking. You can always buy that later. You should just be looking for a solid boat and a trouble free engine with good compression and lots of life left in it and the drive.

Unfortunately that Monterey has a deposit down on it. I really like the look and finish of those boats though, so I may keep my eye out for that brand.

I think I'll be contacting that guy about the Sea Ray 200. I might go check out the Sea Ray 180 at that dealership as well, but I like the seating configuration of the 200 and the larger (rebuilt) engine.

Unfortunately the good ones do go fast. It's a good idea to look at as many boats as you can before buying as you will begin to see subtle differences between both the brands and the years. Remember that all offers from you should be contingent on a survey and a sea trial even if you have to pay for a re-winterization. You don't want to end up with a boat that doesn't perform the way you like.
