What I'm really looking for is a fishing boat towable by an 02 2wd small v8 Silverado.
Not sure if alum or fiber is best.
Will fish on Texas rivers n big lakes. Rode on a boat awhile back where it rode really smooth thru the chops and I didn't get too wet. (It was cold) and it didn't rock around when the speed boaters blasted past. Didn't get the name of the boat at the time.
I weigh 260 so the boat has to be big enough to where the boat doesn't look aroused as I pull away from the dock. Any positive feed back is appreciated.

For a lake boat with great stability try a pontoon. Most lakes will have rentals.
