Another project

i was just given a 1994 Sea Ray "Sea Raydar". The motor is a 90hp 3 cylinder its connected to a jet. The guy that gave it to me said he was driven it and it just quit. It cranks but wont start. Any suggestions on the steps to troubleshoot this thing. Ive already been told it is probably the switch box.

Check for spark on each cylinder, and also the compression....

If you have absolutely no spark, could be the stator, switchbox, or kill circuit including the key switch. You can eliminate the trigger as a possibility unless the wires are severed. Coils can be eliminated too.
