I searched through the forum, but can't seem to find a match to the problem I'm having.
After shutting the engine for maybe 60-90 minutes, I've been having to give the throttle a pump to get the engine to start back up otherwise it will crank for a while and not catch. Once it's running all is good.
Reading a lot of the posts concerning the TKS operation, the temp switch came to mind. If the temp switch was bad, wouldn't you then hear the classing hissing sound after starting up? Once the starts up, no hissing sound, no rough idle, etc.
Also read about the diode and if it shorts open, the TKS module will not get power until the engine warms up. I don't think this is the issue since everything works great from a cold start.
Any thoughts outside of testing the temp switch and diode?
