Any GM tech2 users here

I don't get to work on hardly any newer GM vehicles but we have the stuff to do it at work. Friday I tried to hook our Tech2 up to my truck to play around with it and see if I could shut off the key in ign/door open chime. as soon as I hooked it up it popped the fuse in the tech2. tried it again and it did the same thing. So I did the right thing and put it away and will try another vehicle when one comes through the shop. Any ideas? I just got this truck a couple of weeks ago and don't know if there is a problem with the truck or the scanner.

Make sure all the wires in the OBD2 connector are in place. Although I've never seen the Tech 2 blow a fuse from being hooked up, I have seen it not work due to one or more wires being pushed out the back of the OBD2 connector.<br /><br />Tech 2 is a neat tool.
