Today I had a phase one job interview for a parts manager position; had a great interview.
Looking to see if I can glean some information on the software package they utilize, ADP Lightspeed EVO. There seems to be a lot of product sales info and teaser information on the web. Haven't been able to find anything concrete on using the system and the functionality.
The organization is very strong on the service side, but the parts side appears to be weak and neglected.
They are looking to take the the parts side of the company to the "next" level. Parts promotion, internet sales, maybe an _bay store.
I am a computer user, not a programmer by any means. I have never utilized a program of this nature. I have designed excel programs for all my quoting, scheduling, inventory, billing... From what I can tell this is a proficient system if utilized correctly. They seem to be very limited in the use of the system.
Any words of wisdom or real world experience that might be relevant would be appreciated. Looking for some knowledge and ideas for the phase II interview.
