Any other maintence needed while the whole Drive is off?

I removed my Outdrive (Alpha One gen 2) changed all the bellows, shift cable, water pump, shift bushing assembly. Gimbal Moves perfect. Is there anything else I need to take care of while everything is taken apart?

Check the water hose, oil reservoir hose also. They are prone to dry rot. Given the relatively low cost of the gimbal bearing, I would replace it even if it feels ok. You are already in there, so why not? Murphy's law says that after you put it all back together and start using it, it will end up needing replacement shortly there after. Don't forget to use a new install gasket set also. My two cents.

Always replace the gimbal when removing the OD. It costs little and then you know you have the whole season without worry.

should remove outdrive every year so you wouldnt change bearings every year.

You ought to pressure test your drive after you do a raw water pump.
